February 21, 2002 - Hi! Phoebe again

I'm sending you this from my favourite place, the Organic Planet Cafe where I'm sitting with my friends, Alice, Saffron, George and Harry. We love coming here after school and thanks to my new CD Com I can talk to you at the same time. I just chat into the microphone, (Harry says Hello too, that's him in the right/left? of the picture) then key in our email number, phoebe@sunday-times.com and off it shoots, just like that!

But back to the food...Most people now eat organic food; mum orders nearly everything we eat through the internet and we have a touchscreen in our kitchen; when something runs out we just run the bar code over the built in scanner and the order is automatically lodged with Shopping Direct, an online branch of Sainsburys.

Best of all, the screen also doubles as a TV and phone screen so I can see and hear my friends while I eat my supper. Mum hates it. She says she doesn't want anyone looking at her while she eats her breakfast and I suppose she's got a point. She does look pretty awful in the morning...Hold on a minute, here comes our food!...Quantum protein veg burgers, anOrganic Planet special, and lucious cranberry whip..YUM! Wish you were here too.... Phoebe

Lots of love
Phoebe
