March 14, 2002 I promised to tell you all about e-togs didn't I? As my friend Martin says, they have as much right to life as anything else, so here we go. According to Martin, who has found them nestling in his e-mail account, they were created last year as virtual pets, using the latest evolution software. So, guess what they did? Of course! They evolved! And now they're running about all over the net and are considered vermin. When Martin Coote found one, he downloaded him into his old PC which he is now using as an e-tog sanctuary. If anyone finds another, let us know, since Gerald (that's his name!) needs friends and would like to start a colony. There's a really strange fashion thing going on at the moment. It seems punk is back. It started with everyone wearing utility clothing Ð combat trousers, flak jackets and stuff like that, with loads of zips and pockets for our communication units. Now everyone is dying their hair and looking like space pirates. Well, I say everyone Ð a couple of people at school and Saffron, who's always ahead of the game clothes-wise. The rest of us aren't allowed.
Mum says she was there the first time and she remembers po-go-ing. Does anyone know what she's on about? (I think it's a dance.) She says she'll kill me if I die my hair but I think it would look nice É Phoebe with pink spikes. What do you think?
Let me know.
Bye
